Warren Speed  -  Europe's leading male burlesque performer.

Burlesque is widely thought of as something performed by beautiful and glamorous ladies elegantly and teasingly removing their flamboyant costumes to reveal nipple tassles and hotpants.

Well ...... Warren Speed brings a male touch to the scene !!

And very popular he is too!!

Without doubt the UK's most prolific, most experienced and most original male burlesque performer, Warren has performed at the majority of the country's regular burlesque shows, as well as to large theatre, university and corporate audiences.  He also performs at shows around Europe and has recently been seen by audiences in Amsterdam, Hamburg, Rome and Oslo.

In September 2009 Warren performed alongside Dita Von Teese for two weeks in Paris in the "Gentry De Paris Revue" - in a show that the producers hope will tour the world.

After being literally headhunted by the UK "Britains Got Talent" production team to appear on the 2009 TV show, when Warren Speed finally got to perform in front of the judges - Simon Cowell, Piers Morgan, Amanda Holden and Kelly Brook - and told them he was a male burlesque performer they only allowed him 30 seconds to perform before they all buzzed him off !!!

Were they worried Warren was going to be too hot to handle?    Could you handle him?

Warren Speed has also now taken his acting talents into the movie world - and he is one of the star's of the forthcoming comedy horror movie "Zombie Women of Satan", in which he plays the role of Pervo The Clown.

Warren was featured on BBC1's "Inside Out" documentary programme, and was one of the main performers at the 2007 and 2008 XPO "fetish" tradefair in London  (where he also held workshops on "Burlesque from a male performers point of view" - see www.thexpo.co.uk for more info).

Warren has been featured in Bizarre magazine a number of times, as well as often being in the press in his native North East and in other national publications.

Warren has also been booked to appear at many promotional events, and helped launch the new adult lifestyle exhibition  Passion in London in February '08, as well as being one of the actual events main performers on May 24/25. 

Warren has also performed at the 2008 and 2009 London Burlesque Festivals.

Warren has a number of burlesque routines ..... all of which are unique, entertaining, expertly costumed and charismatically performed.

These include....

Charlie Chaplin - Warren's signature routine! Looking eerily like the king of slapstick comedy, this is a wild dance routine to a medley of classic songs - down to a reveal of MORE than 2 tassles!

The Fan Dancing Chav - You aint never seen so much burberry! Initially yer typical cocky hooligan, this guy reckons he can out-burlesque the girls. He strips, he uses fans and he finished by angle-grinding and flashing his assles !!

Venetian Masked Cavalier - A flamboyantly dressed masked dandy, who struts about to some classic opera waltz music, before catching his reflection in a mirror and decides he needs to remove all of his clothes! Can finish with angle-grinding.

Pretty Woman parody - Warren comes onstage looking like a garish Julia Roberts and proceeds to make a complete fool of himself !!

KISS parody - Dressed to kill like Gene Simmons out of the flamboyant rock band KISS, Warren soon mocks the OTT world of Heavy Metal and all it'#s posing and preening !

Male burlesque balloon pop - can be performed in a number of costumes, all covered head to toe in balloons.  Usually performed in wellies, flat cap, pipe and string vest - as a Northern yokel !!!

Officer & A Gentleman - Dressed as a US Naval officer (a la Richard Gere) Warren reveals a yankee doodle dandy array of underwear and tassles.



Warren Speed also performs a clown double act with female performer Betty D'Light, and has a number of other double acts in the pipeline with Kitty Devine.

And finally Warren performs with international circus star Edd Muir (as The Cheeky Chappies) - a Charlie Chaplin/Buster Keaton inspired slapstick acrobatic act.   For stage and also walkabout / meet & greet.
